Programme Projects
Film culture does not emerge solely through the development and production of individual films. Its long-term development also requires space for knowledge exchange, professional networking, access to film content, audience development, and opportunities that enable creators to build on their work and integrate it into the broader domestic and international arena.
In addition to its funding call activities, the Slovenian Film Centre therefore uses programme funds to support projects that respond to the various needs of the Slovenian film environment. These projects are created in cooperation with professional associations, non-governmental organisations, public institutes, creators, and other partners who, through their knowledge, experience, and direct contact with the field, develop content for different parts of the film community.
Through multi-year investment in such initiatives, the Slovenian Film Centre contributes to a more connected, professionally stronger, and more accessible film environment.
